SiteSentinal is an Internet service company providing 24/7 Internet monitoring services
worldwide a complete onsite webmaster services in the Houston, Texas area.
SiteSentinal began as a software development company providing custom business
application PC software for clients in the Houston area in the mid 80's. Several
applications were marketed as shareware. We moved out of shareware distribution
because we were unable to meet the demands of our client base and create the new
versions of the shareware needed to grow that part of the business. Over the years we
have moved more and more to browser based applications with the growth and power of
the Internet and browser. We have provided browser based record management, e-
commerce and website support software to clients. Over time we had begun to provide
more support for existing websites than development of new websites.
We have recently decided to focus on the website support that falls into the general
category of webmaster functions. In this area, we can use our background and expertise
to provide a valuable service to clients. We have found that there is more work required
to maintain and monitor a site as develop a site than is generally anticipated. We have
developed software and techniques that allow us to evaluated a site and determine if the
site is meeting its goals and maintaining a robust presence.
We are developing services such as our Watchman domain monitoring service to provide
support to more that our immediate onsite client base. We are developing services that
meet needs that will not change with advancements of Internet technology. We are
concentrating on services that meet ongoing needs of websites.
